Jagged edges remain as Broken fragments slowly descend to the floor A void like the missing key to the lock of an unopened door
The fantasy of unrequited love haunts my mind As each frozen frame escapes my memory one last time A figment of the past fading fast
Foreshadowing the beginning of the end

Tormented by the icy sting of rejection Engulfed within depths of lunacy of the frigid pool Buried in the bottom of the foggy pale bluish-green abyss
